Faith · Community · Service

A house of worship, and a home for the families around it.

Sayidali Islamic Center serves Muslim families across North Minneapolis and the wider Twin Cities. We keep the five daily prayers, teach the Qur’an to the next generation, and stand with neighbours who need help — whoever they are.

Faith

Five daily congregational prayers, two Jumu’ah khutbahs, Taraweeh through Ramadan, and an imam available for counsel, nikah and janazah.

Monthly Timetable

Salah times

Calculated for 2900 Lyndale Ave N using the ISNA method (18° Fajr / 18° Isha is used by some masajid — we follow 15°), Hanafi or standard Asr set in the site configuration. Iqamah follows the masjid’s standing offsets.

Times shift with the season — this table recalculates itself every day, so it never goes stale. Print-friendly: use your browser’s print dialog for a wall copy.

Zakat Calculator

Work out what you owe, then give it here.

Zakat is due on wealth you have held for a full lunar year once it passes the nisab threshold. Enter current values — the calculation updates as you type. For complex situations (business assets, rental property, retirement accounts) speak to the imam.

Enter your assets above to see whether you have reached the nisab.

This tool is a guide, not a fatwa. Zakat al-Fitr, agricultural zakat and zakat on livestock are calculated differently.
